Nigeria Data Mapper
About this project
Nigeria Data Mapper brings together political, economic and social data on Nigeria mapped down to subnational levels. The project’s ambition is to make Nigerian data freely accessible for research, journalism, and public understanding, at a level of geographic detail that isn’t otherwise easy to find in one place.
For now, the project has focused on gathering and mapping electoral data with other data types planned for subsequent phases.

The Nigeria Data Mapper project is developed by Dr. Leila Demarest, Leiden University, Netherlands.
Usage statement
Maps created by Nigeria Data Mapper are free to use for noncommercial purposes. Reproduction is also allowed in academic work published by commercial publishers and news reports by media companies. Maps may not be cropped or otherwise altered.
Underlying datasets are entirely open source and made available through the repository (see Datasets). Proper attribution is expected.
